Are you ready for another sexy, snark filled, sassy romance from the always unputdownable Avery Flynn? Well hold onto your panties because the Schemer is finally here and be prepared to watch Tyler and Everly obliterate the line between hate and love and do so in style.I loved this book, lets get that out of the way right now. I was lucky enough to read an early copy and holy full bladder, I could not put it down once I started. Yes, it’s one of those books that you accidentally inhale and are so not sorry you did.Tyler, mmmm the oh so sexy Tyler and gallery owner Everly give new meaning to spark and sizzle as they rub each other the wrong way (and not in the fun sense) at their first meeting and as they up the ante in their battle of wills.Between the snarky insults that fly thick and fast, the bad cooking (his and I thought I was bad in the kitchen) and the heels from hell, these two push each other’s limits while trying to ignore the instant chemistry that can’t and won’t be denied.Seeing them go from antagonistic to scorching hot in no time at all is too much fun. Keep an eye out for a hilarious and uber hot scene in the carpark of their apartment, it’s a favourite. Oh who am I kidding, I did so many highlights with this book it’s practically yellow. Like I said I loved it.There was just something about Tyler and Everly together that made sense and when you read it you will understand. I think it has to do with the fact that these two are almost like oil and water but when you shake them up they blend perfectly and that exactly what happens to Tyler when he meets Everly.Add in an unexpected super sweet romance that I absolutely loved, appearances from the previous books characters in Sawyer & Clover plus Hudson and Felicia plus meeting and learning more about future characters in the Hartigans and you have a book that is already calling my name for a third read and okay, okay a series re-read.Finally, yes this can be read as a stand-alone, but I highly recommend reading The Negotiator and The Charmer because like this book they are awesome. Avery Flynn you are the snark and sass queen to me.
