Good quality toy wooden wheels. Project not finished yet. Woodpeckers has provided other good quality wooden parts ordered.At first I did not like the idea of purchasing wheels to add to toys I made by hand. But making wheels is a pain and these help me focuse on more important parts of the product. Very happy with the purchase as I usually am with woodpeckers.The wheel are 1” diameter by 3/16” thick. Inaccurate description. No excuse for that.It was great for using as wheels on my projects.I use these as the final step in a introductory Woodshop class. The final project is a car bandsawn from a wooden blank. My students love themLike a couple of other reviewers here, I was fooled by the description which says, "Toy Wheels 1.5" X 1/2" Axle Hole 24 Pack". You can understand why one would think this product has a 1/2" axle hole! It's not. It's probably a quarter inch and won't work for my project. I'll need to figure something else out - no time to send it back and search for others. :-(As a new wood crafter, I decided to make a car for our 3yr old grand child. That led to a bus, a train and a truck.I ordered wheels for the car, and they worked out so well, our other vehicles now benefit from the different sizes. They are sturdy, and the kids can roll them across the wood, carpet or tile floors without hurting anything.
