Keep in mind that if you want to use this with a spinning reel you should use light monofilament (4-6 lb) on a fast action rod. You'll also want a slip bobber rigged about 4 feet up from the lure. When you cast it make sure you load the rod up and whip it out, kind of like fly fishing. Once its on the water hold the rod tip low, and whip the rod tip down to make the popper dart forward and squirt water. I've caught tiny largemouth bass to big bull bluegills with this lure.
